The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union: Towards New Models of Free Trade?

As part of the International Economic Forum of the Americas, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and its annual Conference of Montreal, the EUCE and the Cérium organize a breakfast meeting on the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement in a comparative perspective. The speakers will also address the free-trade negotiations between the EU and the United States and the EU and the Asian continent.

Pascal Lamy, Former Director General of the World Trade Organization (2005-2013). Honorary president of the Institute Notre Europe.




Pierre Marc Johnson, Counsel at Lavery. Prime Minister of Quebec (1985) and chief negotiator for the Government of Quebec in the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the EU.

 

 

Lay Hwee Yeo, Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Director of the European Union Center of Excellence - Singapore.


 



Jean Quatremer, Journalist, permanent correspondent in Brussels for the daily newspaper Libération.
