Tthe EU Ambassador visits the EUCE

The EUCE Montreak was pleased to welcome Her Excellency Marie-Anne Coninsx, Ambassador of the EU to Canada, on Tuesday, November 25. Ms. Coninsx first spoke in Professor Laurie Beaudonnet's undergraduate class at UdeM, on the theme of EU citizenship, free movement and migration. Afterwards, she answered the student's questions on this and other EU topics, as well as on her personal background.

The Ambassador then went to McGill, where she participated in the inauguration of the EUCE new offices on campus, located on 3438, McTavish. The visit ended up with an intervention and a questions/answers session with students from Professor Sven-Oliver Proksch's undergraduate class, on the topic of EU-Canada relations

This was the Ambassador's second visit to the EUCE in 2014. The team wishes to thank her for her availability and enthusiasm in meeting with students.
