SPECQUE - Training

The EUCE offers training sessions to undergraduate students participating in the annual European Parliament Simulation - Canada-Quebec-Europe (SPECQUE).

SPECQUE allows students to engage in debates about issues currently being discussed in the European Parliament. These debates - which are conducted in French - are meant to increase participants' interests in the EU and their knowledge of debates there. As well, SPECQUE offers students an opportunity to meet students from countries across Europe.

Since its creation in 1998, SPECQUE pursues several objectives:

  • Increase knowledge about the European Parliament and its relationship to other European institutions
  • Promote the European Union's democratic values and processes
  • Making students aware of the challenges facing Europe

In 2015, the SPECQUE will be held in Lille (France).
